A csendeskönyv különleges műfaj. Alkotója kizárólag képekkel mesél, és az olvasóval közösen írja a történetet: az egyik elkezdi, a másik folytatja. A szöveg nélküli könyvek többféleképpen használhatók: mesélhetjük szavakkal vagy nézegethetjük csendben. A képek érzéseket, álmokat, emlékeket idéznek fel.
